I read the cover story of Time this week and I am in shock about our misguided science behind ethanol and in awe of the power of the Farm Lobby. After finishing the article, it seems to me that the cure has must worse than the problem. I guess the problem is that we need to find a replacement for fossil fuel instead of a substitute! The internal combustion engine must go away and the sooner the better! My next three emails will be to my congressman and my senators! We have to stop this biofuel lunacy before we destroy the planet!

We're just getting better at it, with a shorter time horizon. But, we are also more aware of it, when we look at the science.
