If I hear "Hunkered Down" again I will scream!

We have been watching the news last night and today. Yes, we are fine, but I will keep you posted as long as I have power today. Every time we turn in, we hear that the reporter and crew are hunkered down. I am as tired of that phrase as I am hearing about porcine makeup practices! Please people, the English language must have more that one way to say that we are taking shelter from the storm. Find them!

I think the reporters and camera men/women who refuse to evacuate with the rest of the people should be fined or something. Everytime I see someone on camera telling us how bad the storm is and why people are evacuated I turn the channel.
