Today at work, we walked to a local restaurant to celebrate a new team member. He started yesterday, but Tuesday is the day most of us are in the office. The 0.3 miles was just enough to remind me. Darshana asked me how I was doing as we arrived. “Oh fine, only one leg is numb. If we had gone much further both would have been numb.” Yes, I celebrate the caring people on my team. My boss told me she tried to find a place that was close enough. We have been to the other David-distance one too often lately. 😎
