I miss my Kisses!

Time was you knew what you were going to get with a kiss. Now, you never know. I can't remember my first kiss, it was so long ago, but I do remember a few over the years. Yeah, they started to change a few decades back. A little change during the special seasons, but that was just for a season. Mostly it was a change of clothes for Easter or Christmas, but those kisses built a dream, not a nightmare of uncertainly. I actually started to look forward to the seasonal kisses, for the season, but month in and month out, normal kisses were always best.

Then came hugs. Not quite a kiss, but not far enough away to cause concern. Then mint came back every Christmas. Then dark kisses tempted me. But now, your never know. My first kiss that was soft in the middle shocked me! Too many flavors! Too many textures! I say a pock on your caramel kisses, your dulce de leche. Heaven forbid another peanut butter kiss ever cross my lips. I say boycott all kisses other than milk chocolate, MC with almonds, and maybe the dark chocolate. I will allow mint at Christmas and any change of clothing with the seasons, as long as the flavor and texture are what I know.
