It was My Fault this Time

I guess I should have bought the tickets right after I decided to go. I have been planning to go se Dad at Spring break long enough to have skipped try-outs for a play. I started looking for flights months ago. I looked and found the best connections. I even “booked” the flight in Expedia and checked the price every few days. Much to my dismay, one day I checked and the two-stop flight (Tyler to Dallas to Denver to Billings) had jumped in price. Now I had to make and extra stop to get the same price. I left home this morning at 11:00 to get to the airport for the 12:06 flight. Here I am at five after 5:00, still in Texas, still in the Central time zone, still in the clutches of the airlines. At least there is now a pretty little girl making faces at me as she squirms in her stroller. She can’t be very old, but then her mother doesn’t appear to be very old either.
