The First Week is Almost Over

9:00 on a Thursday night and I am winding down, almost. I need to finish my laundry so I have clean clothes on Monday. I plan to run back to Tyler after work tomorrow to clean up the house and check the grass etc. It has actually shown a few more times. Yeah! To do my wash, I had to finish hooking up the washer and dryer and buy soap, etc. Every time I turn around I am missing something. Glad Krogers is just down the street. Soon, I will have a super Target too.

So far, I have unpacked all of what I need for day to day, made a loaf of bread (yes, Annie-it smelled great when I got home), cooked real food several nights this week (I have only had a sandwich one night), been to a couple small groups with Walk to Emmaus people (both meet way on the other side of town--I have to drive to be safe), ridden the scooter a couple times (and found news ways to explore the city), found the library (see preceding statement), and written my first functional program at work (it was only a test and will never be used for anything, but it works).

Today at lunch, I peeled my orange and thought about my lunch bunch back in Tyler. I smiled. I will be in Tyler overnight on Friday and much of Saturday. I want to get back Saturday might, so I can relax before Monday. The Denton French group has a dinner on Sunday night. I plan to be there with bells on!
