Wrap up the week.

Such a week.  I seem to have rushed by this week.  Work has been going well. I finished my first draft of the first program in a multi-month project.  I took the skeleton and started the second today.  I had one of those "another set of eyes" problems toward the end of the day.  I showed my manager and he only had to ask one question to get me past that hump.  There is at least one more.  The problem is at least a camel and may be a sea monster.  I started to say something about the bones of the first program, but that somehow did not have the right ring.

Tuesday was French night. We talked for the better part of two hours. I cannot tell you how much fun to talk in French with people who want to talk in French.  The new people mentioned how well I spoke.  I would be even better if I had started with all the kids instead of just Nathan a couple decades ago.  We plan dinner on the 9th.  I will actually have to pick between two events on the 9th.  The Singles group at Church plans dinner with Jim and Stephanie (pastor and spouse) the same night.  Zut!  I guess I will have to let you know. I can think of reasons stacked up on both sides,  Wednesday, in fact, I spent a couple hours with the Singles group at Wednesday night Feast at church.  I enjoyed myself.  Thursday, after all my errands, I had a quiet read.  One of the errands was a haircut.  Come to think of it, the haircut must have been Monday, because we talked about the fact that I forgot to ask the price at the French Group.  Oh that's right, Thursday was the long walk.

When I looked at apartments, Colorado Courts was one of them.  They did not have room.  I walked from one end to the other.  When I realized how long (from 2007 to 1911 Colorado) it was, I could not believe it.  On the way back, I clocked myself, 7 minutes.  Yikes.  If I had gotten a place there in the far end, I would have had at least a 30 minute walk instead of my 10 minutes.

I hear noise from my real estate agent, but I will not worry until a check clears the bank.

Speaking of checks, I got my first almost real paycheck today. I say almost real, because they did not take out for insurance yet. But, I did get a full half month rather than the first one that ways a few days short.

So what is your agent saying? The house sold?
We have begun the process, but there may be any number of road blocks in the way. They offered much less than asking, but I agree there is plenty of work to be done. I will be glad to be rid of it. At least I will not take a loss on it at what they offered.
