Wow! We have had a lot of water. Remember a couple week ago, I mentioned that the lake was two feet above normal. Now, it ia almost 8 feet. Chris and I had dinner the other night and he mentioned that there have been fewer days without rain than with rain since they moved here. Welcome to Portland of the West.

We had 3 inches of rain in less than 12 hours and thought it was amazing. I'm hearing on the news that parts of TX are getting 8 inches per hour!

Saw in the Denton paper yesterday the threat of ovrr flowing resevoirs. And my favorite columnist writing of the sadness while getting rid of her late mother's stuff at a yard sale. I keep finding stuff your mother put away - "might need that some day." Or "that's to precious to throw away."
